In Lehi’s vision, he traveled for a long time in darkness. He was beginning to feel a little scared, so he “began to pray unto the Lord that he would have mercy on me, according to the multitude of his tender mercies.” After he prayed, he saw the Tree of Life. The song, Did You Think To Pray?, says, “So, when life gets dark and dreary,; Don’t forget to pray.” Lehi “was in a dark and dreary waste,” so he prayed. We should never forget to pray.
