Isaiah prophies that, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” He doesn’t mean that he has that name; he means that those are his titles. He is a wonderful person and a counselor to us. He is mighty, and never goes away, i.e. everlasting. And finally, he is peaceful and never gets angry.

I heard a great idea last week. Each week we could review the titles/names of Jesus Christ and choose one to “take upon us” or try to be more like that characteristic of Jesus. Which one would you choose first? Look for ones mentioned in your scripture reading. Love you. Grandma Peggy
